Dick has been married to Maureen
Buschman, also from class of ’55, for almost 47 years. They have two daughters and
a granddaughter, six years old. Daughter, Rebecca, and her
family live in San Diego
and she works at a large biotech company. Kara, their second daughter,
lives nearby and is a tenured professor at ESL.
Dick and Maureen have been retired
for the past ten years.
They do volunteer work such as teaching, giving talks, and
doing taxes. Their many
interests include birding, photography, reading, family, friends,
and exercise.
