Jean and her husband, Claude, have a
combined family of 10 children and 19 grandchildren. Their children range in age
from 32 to 47 years old, and the grandchildren from 2 to 24 years old. She says, “They are all
beautiful and brilliant.”
Most live in Southern California (near
them), but one family lives in
Utah.
The early years were spent raising
and taking care of children, along with some volunteering. Now they travel the
world. They just
returned from Africa. Jean and her husband like to
garden and are active in their church. Also, they are members of a
ballroom dancing club.
Sewing and reading are other favorite pastimes for Jean. She says, “My mom just
turned 91 and remembers all of my classmates and those happy times
in Kenmore.”
