Jenny and Dave are the parents of three
children. Louise
married to Gil Crawford, is the mother of Caroline (9), and Gideon
(7). Louise has a
consulting business that focuses on strategic planning and fund
development in Bethesda, MD.
Her husband runs an organization that does microenterprise
banking. Dan married to
Rosemary Trent, is father to Jacob (8), Sebastian (6), and Henry
(2). They live in
Nairobi,
Kenya where Dan
works for PLAN International, a
community development agency. Tim, married to Emma
Pearson, is father to Clare (3). They live in Portsmouth, NH,
and he is a financial planner with Morgan Stanley.
Jenny’s career has ranged from
French teacher (first at Bflo. Seminary), to ten years as United Way
executive in CT, London, England, and for the state of Kentucky, to
work for the Presbyterian Church (USA). Jenny and Dave served as
consultants to the church’s educational work in
Pakistan
for ten years (spending part of the year in
Pakistan),
and they continue to support that work. She served one year
coordinating all the
church’s international education work and has coordinated
international seminars in Asia and
Brazil. Jenny currently serves as
co-chair of a national church task force. They like to cross country
ski, hike, and participate in the life of their small
Vermont
town.
