Ken and his wife, Barbara, have two
children. Sandra
Schmidt Milton, a graduate of Cornell, is a human resources manager
for a company in Atlanta,
GA. She and her husband have
four children, ages 2, 8, 11, and 16. They visit Ken in
Florida several times
a year and like to swim with “Grandpa”. Their son, Mark, is a
graduate of Eastman School of Music and SUNY Binghamton/Tri-Cities
Opera. Mark and his
wife both teach high school vocal music in Rochester , New
York and perform in operas, churches and concerts. They have two children, ages
1 and 11 years old.
Ken completed a teaching career of
32 years in mathematics that included teaching in
Kenmore, Sweet Home High
School, Virginia
Commonwealth University, and Seneca
Falls. He
retired from teaching in 1992 and moved to
Leesburg,
FL in 1997. He recently completed his
22nd year with H & R Block as both a tax preparer and
office manager. In
Florida, Ken follows
many hobbies, serves on the board of directors and is treasurer of
the Condo Association.
Barbara, spent 16 years teaching art and 12 years as director
of a Teacher
Resource
Center in
Newark, New York
. Barb runs her own computer
training and repair business in
Florida and plays
violin in an orchestra. |
