Marvin went into the Navy one month
after graduation. He
served on a landing ship and went to the Pacific on the Bikini Atoll
for atomic bomb testing.
He returned home four years later and worked for his dad’s
home improvement business (John Virchau Co.) After the
Buffalo blizzard of
1977, Marvin and his wife, Geraldine, moved to
Cape Coral,
FL.
They have two children. Brian (45) lives in
Buffalo with his two
children; Lynn (21) and
Kyle (17), and works for the Corrections Dept. in NYS. Deb (37) is single and is a
manager of a Banana Republic store in
Miami.
