Maureen has been married nearly
47 years to fellow classmate, Dick Dworak. She tells us they have two
wonderful daughters and an incredible, of course, granddaughter, now
six years old.
Daughter, Rebecca, and her family live in
San Diego and she works
at a large biotech company.
Their daughter, Kara, lives nearby and is a tenured professor
at ESL.
Maureen says they have been
(mostly) retired for the last decade, wondering how they ever fit
work into their schedule.
Volunteering (teaching, giving talks, and doing taxes), and
travel (mostly via Elder hostels and) take up a good part of their
time. Following
multiple interests as birding, photography, reading, family,
friends, and exercise take up the rest.
