Sandra’s husband, Gerald, is
deceased. Their
daughter lives in
Michigan and is
climbing the corporate ladder.
She says she is fortunate to have their son, wonderful
daughter-in-law and three really nice grandchildren live in
Kenmore.
For over 25 years, Sandra was a
docent at the Buffalo Zoo and Buffalo Museum of Science and is
currently at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin D. Martin House. Church, Habitat for Humanity
and Victorian Christmas at the Theodore Roosevelt site round out her
volunteering. Having a
basement full of tools after Jerry died, Sandra decided to take up
woodworking. Among her
projects are interior raised-panel shutters that fit into the wall,
a Limbert occasional table and a F.L.W. Taliesin floor lamp. She also tells us she is new
at kayaking, but finds it lots of fun.
