Terry and Jim have been married 45
years. They have five
children and eight grandchildren. Daughter, Connie Paxson, is
a corporate executive, lives in Matthews, NC, is married to Mark
Paxson, and has three children; Jessica, Ronald and Nicholas. Son, Jim, is a corporate
accountant, lives in Boca Raton,
FL and is single. Daughter,Kathy Paszkiewicz,
is a social worker at a nursing home, lives in Hamburg, NY and has
three children; David, Danielle, and Zachary. Son, Kevin, is a tech
support executive with Delaware North Corp., lives in
Hamburg,
NY and is married to Lisa Wilson
with two children; Rachel and Jackson. Karen is an accountant,
lives in Matthews, NC and is single.
Terry, tells us she attended night
school at the University
of Buffalo while their
children were young, and graduated Cum Laude in June, 1969. She went to work at a local
CPA firm from June, 1969 to May, 1974. Then she worked for the
Village of
Williamsville as the
clerk-treasurer and later as their administrator. She worked there until she
retired in May of 2000, after 26 years. She is a Certified Public
Accountant and Registered Municipal Clerk. Terry received many awards
such as Community Service Award for Local Government – 1992, from
Amherst GOP; Who’s Who – Worldwide, listed in 1994; NYS Clerk of the Year –
1994, awarded by the NYS Association of City and Village Clerks;
Public Administrator of the Year – 1997, awarded by the American
Society of Public Administration, Niagara Frontier Chapter. She is a member and officer
of a number of professional organizations. Jim retired from Washington
Mills in 1988 from his position of Systems Manager.
Terry and Jim moved to the Villages
in Florida in July,
2000. She keeps busy by
working part-time in a local accounting office doing tax accounting
and small business accounting.
She tells us they are enjoying the
Florida sunshine, and
in her spare time, is learning to play golf. Terry also enjoys gardening,
swimming, taking vacations, visiting their family, and just
relaxing.
