Vera’s daughter, Betsy Young, is
a program manager – Cardiac Rehab. Her son-in-law, David Young,
is a coach of girl’s softball UNC
(Carolina). Grandson, Jake (5), plays
soccer and T-ball.
Her son, Tom has a PhD in Linguistics and works in
Washington, D.C. and his wife, Hsiang-Ting Wu, is a translator for USDA
in Washington, D.C.
Vera says, “I am retired!!” She lives in an active adult
community in Pinehurst,
NC. Volunteering and water
aerobics keep her busy.
In March, Vera traveled to
China
for a wedding banquet for her son and daughter-in-law.
